Top 2 Tech Events in June’22
The month of June comes with the two big tech events organized the leading tech companies, i.e Flipkart and Amazon, for both undergraduate students and working professionals.
Here they are:
1. Flipkart GRiD 4.0
GRiD is Flipkart’s Flagship Engineering Campus Challenge where you get the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills, to compete and complete key challenges.
Flipkart GRiD is now in its fourth iteration, and it’s larger and better than ever, bringing real-world E-Commerce problem statements to the world’s brightest engineering minds!
Eligibility:
- This competition is open to students pursuing B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/ or related Engineering Programs across ALL Engineering Colleges in India & US (Batch 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026)
- They should be full-time students from the same engineering college
Stages:
The Software Development Track will have 2 to 3 elimination levels to test your technical, analytical, and ideation skills before the National Finale.
- Level 1: E-Commerce & Tech Quiz: Each team will be given a series of questions to answer in 30 minutes, and they will be ranked according to their correctness and speed. The Quiz will be based on E-Commerce Trivia (Reference: https://stories.flipkart.com) and Tech (Technology Awareness + Techstack & Computer Science Fundamentals). Only the team leader will give the quiz.
- Level 2: Submission of Proof of Concept: Qualifying teams from Level 1 will work on the Idea Submission along with the demo video and code submission.
- Level 3: The National Finale: In the final level of the GRiD, finalists will be invited to showcase their solutions to the panel of domain experts at flipkart.
Rewards:
- Winners get EGVs worth INR 1,50,000
- First Runners-Up Get EGVs worth INR 75,000
- Top 50 teams (Level 1- Quiz) will get GRiD goodies
- Certificate of merit will be provided to Top 20 teams per college, Level 1 qualifying teams and the Finalists.
- Top teams who qualify for level 2 will get a chance to be a part of the hiring process for internship and full-time tech roles at Flipkart
- Teams who reach the finale get a PPI for a software tech role (internship/full time)

2. HackOn — Amazon Coding Challenge
This Hackathon cum hiring event provides you with a fantastic opportunity to put your coding skills to the test, answer some difficult coding questions, and walk away with an exciting job position at Amazon with a minimum package of 25 LPA.
Stages
The Hackathon event consists of a single round to test your ability to code & face some challenging technical questions. All the participants securing sufficient scores will be moved to the Interview process.
Eligibility:
- Graduation Year: 2019, 2020 or 2021
- Degree: B.Tech / M.Tech /Dual Degree/MCA from any recognized institute in India.
- Experience — 0 to 2 years
- Proficient in Coding
- Participants should be Indian citizens or should be a PIO (Person of Indian Origin) or an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)
Rewards:
- First Prize — Rs 1.5 Lakh
- First Runner Up Prize — Rs 1 Lakh
- Second Runner Up prize — Rs 75 Thousand
- Top 100 submissions will receive an Amazon SWAG kit worth INR 5,000
